Yesterday I done my first shoot with Kirsty Wilson and Yazmin Aborida at their stables in Milngavie! It went well and we went right upto the moors for some photographs! This was my first themed shoot yesterday and I really enjoyed it! I also got to meet the cutest foal ever Dylan and I got some images of him too! Here is a preview of the shoot and the foal, enjoy!

July has been a really busy month with me, I have been working at my non photography job and also working with Adrian Sinclair (photography job ) I have worked with him over a year now ( yes its went in that fast ) so I’ve been pretty busy. I haven’t had a chance to even do my theme I was supposed to do this summer which makes me very sad… BUT… I will be continuing it this August hopefully!

I was working at a pony club camp final show yesterday and it was fun despite the thunder and also me coming across a half eaten animal with only its tail left ( which trust me was horrible ) I also have another couple of shows coming up which will be great and in August I will be going to work with Julia Shearwood and her team at Blair Castle horse trials which I’m looking forward too!

My friend Lara Whiteway was featured in a local magazine Live Preston and my photo was featured aswell which I was very happy about! I will try and update this as much as possible but I seem to be so busy. Here is a couple of photographs when I went to my friends yard a couple of weeks back!

Prom and Equine shoot.

On Thursday night I went to my friend Stephanie’s to photograph her before she went of to prom, she looked beautiful and her dress was absolutely stunning . I also had taken some photos of her friends too who looked beautiful aswell! She also wanted me to photograph her and her pony Mork which decided was going to be on the Sunday (depending on weather). The equine shoot was on Sunday and the rain stayed off which was good as we were both worried it wouldn’t. We used a lovely hayfield for our location as it was amazing with bright yellow butter cups. The owner of the yard is a photographer also and has some great lenses which he kindly let me borrow ( Thank you again Colin ) I used my 50mm for the first time which is such a tricky lens to get used to, though great quality! Most of the shoot I used Colin’s 24-70 which is a great lens and also his amazing 100-400 4.0 canon L series lens which I was so chuffed ( you have no idea ) with how they came out! I could cry and would like to steal that lens LOL. I never thought to this day I would ever use a lens like that with my 400d! The sharpness is amazing!

Here is some images from her prom night and also some previews of the equine shoot.
